Training Materials and Guides


The Hispanic Seminary of Medieval Studies (HSMS) has developed a number of digital humanities resources over the past several years that do not fall under any of our other project categories but that we are pleased to make freely available to the scholarly community. These include user guides, workshop materials, and training resources designed to support researchers, educators, and students working with digital tools and textual corpora.

A practical introduction to Voyant Tools, a web-based platform for the analysis and visualization of digital text corpora.
User Guide for the Analizador Corpus OSTA
A comprehensive guide to the Analizador Corpus OSTA, the text processing tool developed by the HSMS for the lemmatization and morphological tagging of medieval Spanish texts.
User Guide for the Old Spanish Textual Archive (OSTA)
A detailed guide to navigating and querying the Old Spanish Textual Archive, a lemmatized and morphologically tagged linguistic corpus of medieval Ibero-Romance texts.
